 The
Sunrise™ series of solar aerators are
ideal for ponds that are not near a source of electricity or for anyone who wants
to take advantage of the natural power inherent in the sun. The new 2008 models
of our popular Sunrise™ systems are complete solar aeration packages that
have been designed to fit the needs of most applications. Whatever the size of
your pond we can help you choose the right system(s) for the job.
Regular
shaped ponds often can be aerated with one centrally placed diffuser (Sunrise
2008-XL) in the deepest central area while irregular shaped ponds and ponds with
major depths differences can often be best aerated with two or more diffusion
stations placed strategically (Sunrise 2008-XXL).
Initially,
a solar system can seem more expensive than a windmill or an electric aeration
system, but a solar system will not have yearly power costs so this can be an
effective option for some ponds and a good argument for using solar power!
The Sunrise Direct series comes in two different configurations to suit
many pond sizes, depths and conditions. All our solar aeration kits include the
compressor, the solar panels, the top of pole mount, the required cables and electronics,
and the all important diffuser system, either discs or Bubble Tubing™, to
aerate your pond or basin. Self-sinking tubing and regular airline are inexpensive
and popular options.
