AquaAir-1 to AquaAir-6 & The "Deep Water" Series

When superior aeration and de-stratification is desired for water bodies that require a more natural setting, permit safe recreational use, require non-moving or non-electrical parts, or are very deep and/or large, AquaAir™ by AquaMasterฎ is the intelligent choice. Available as factory ready aeration systems from the AquaAir 1 to the AquaAir 6 as well as the new Deep Water series featuring large 1/2 HP piston compressors for deep water and specialty applications.

AquaAir™ provides ponds and lakes with superior aeration, circulation, and de-stratification. Dissolved oxygen (DO) levels are increased throughout the entire water column with the use of bottom-mounted diffusers. The diffusers employ a super fine micro-bubble technology resulting in the highest diffuser oxygen transfer rate (OTR) available today. The micro-bubbles draw water from the pond floor to the surface where atmospheric oxygen is absorbed and then transferred throughout the water column. This process provides excellent deterrence to thermal stratification (layers of different temperature within the water). The diffusers are connected by our self-weighted Torpedo Tubing air supply tubing to a revolutionary cylindrical design enclosure containing one of four compressor sizes. System sizes range from 1/3 to 1 HP and operate with one to six diffusers.

Diffusers

• Diffusers can be replaced with Bubble Tubing in shallow conditions or to improve ease of installation.

Sizing guide should be based on lake turnover rate of 1.5 - 2 times per day. This is adequate to aerate most low oxygen, organic bottom sediment lakes.

Shallow lakes and canals, narrow lakes or lakes with fingers, coves or other physical features that restrict circulation may Bubble Tubing instead of traditional diffusers. The Aqua Air systems are ideal for use with Bubble Tubing.

The Bubble Snake This length of flexible self-sinking bubble tubing comes equipped with a 1/2" connector and a plug in one end so it's ready to be attached to your self-sinking tubing and set into the pond or water garden. The Bubble Snake is easy to move from place to place so you can add aeration to hard to reach areas.

Bottom Line TubingUsing lengths of Bubble Tubing with your Vertex system in place of the standard AirStations allows you to aerate shallow, narrow or any unusual circumstance where discxs may not be efficient.

This flexible self-sinking tubing has dual rows of bubbles spaced 1/4 inch apart running the entire length of the tubing. Unlike older generations of tubing that used a lead keel our Bubble Tubing is weighted with a felixible ballast of solid PVC. This aeration tubing is easy to install and will not kink. For shallow areas in ponds or water-gardens or in deeper basins and waste water applications this tubing can be used in short or long lengths to efficiently aerate any aquatic environment.
