New pond projects

1Project 1
Construction of pond on a relatively steep slope. Earth dam sealed with local clay. Water source : underground water springs.

2Project 2
Construction of pond in a poorly drained forested area. This pond was excavated and did not need a dam. Water source : water table and small watershed above pond.

3Project 3
Construction of two ponds on a poorly drained forested area with a slight slope. Earth dam sealed with local clay. Water source : water table and watershed above pond.

4Project 4

Construction of a pond in a poorly drained abandoned grazing field. Earth dam sealed with local clay. Water source : water table and small watershed above pond.

5Project 5
Construction of a pond in a natural hollow valley. Earth dam sealed with local clay. Water source : Sub-surface and existing small brook and water shed.

6Project 6
Construction of pond on a rocky hill site. Earth dam sealed with HDPE membrane. Water source : artesian well and small watershed above pond.

1Project 1
This pond was built on a good site but the dam was constructed with porous materials.Earth dam repairs was done with local clay. Water source : water table and surface well.

2Project 2
This pond's overflow pipe was broken and the pond was sitting empty. Earth dam repairs were done with local clay. Water source : nearby brook with intake control valve.

3Project 3

Repairs and improvement of an existing pond. Earth dam was built with porous material. We sealed it with a GCL membrane. Water source : sub-surface and surface well.
